If you want to progress to the next level within the ITIL certifications scheme, the ITIL Intermediate Level, you need to have first passed the ITIL Foundation examination. The ITIL Foundation module is 2 credits.

Service Capability: Operational Support and Analysis (OSA) 4 Credits Planning, Protection and Optimization (PPO) 4 Credits Release, Control and Validation (RCV) 4 Credits Service Offerings and Agreements (SOA). 4 Credits
In order to complete the Intermediate level, you need to attend training run by an AXELOS Accredited Training Organization such as ours. You cannot self-study and then take the examinations. If Intermediate Level (17 credits) are completed, the next step is to take Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC) 5 Credits - to achieve Expert level ITIL certification.
